The Holy Spirit

  1. How many of us really know or understand who or what the Holy Spirit is?

  • A spirit
  • The Holy Ghost (hasn’t been used in a translation since 1901)
  • A force
  • A thing made up to help us understand God better
  • Is he God the Holy Spirit
    • What kind of power does he have?
    • Can he really live inside each of us?
    • Why don’t we know more about him?

1.The Holy Spirit is God

2. He knows all things

3. He can be grieved or quenched

4. He is the Spirit of Truth

Note: The Holy Spirit came on them.

  • He gifted them
  • They had never spoken these languages before
  • With this gift, they taught the people about the great message of salvation in Christ
  • They also prophesied
    • To foretell future events
    • Especially about the Kingdom of God

1.Get in touch with the Holy Spirit

  • Enjoy your relationship with him

2. Know your position in Christ

  • Our relationship is guaranteed through the Holy Spirit

3. Use your gift to bring about changes in the Kingdom of God
