1. What is redemption?

In the Old Testament it was the Atonement sacrifice.

1. What is the sacrifice of Atonement and how does that lead to redemption, the forgiveness of our sins?

There is an assumption that when it comes to the concept of redemption, we understand our position as humans.

1st God is God

2nd He is holy

3rd We are his creation

4th We are not holy

We need to be made right in the sight of a holy God

What do we have to do to be okay with God?

Why in the world did Jesus come here?

The 10 Commandments only served to tell us that we cannot measure up to God’s standards.
