Working Power

Power

Absolute power

Unchallengeable power

Endless power

Mankind fights and dies for power.

Thought: Often people mistake Jesus’ humility as a lack of power.

In his power, sovereign power, he humbled himself and became a man in order to restore our broken relationship with him

“What did the power of God do to and for Jesus, and what affect did it have on us?”

God’s power was exerted in Christ.

• God took a dead body and energized it
• An energy that creates

• Unlimited

1. Working power

• Velocity of God’s sovereign power

1. Strength

• Mighty deeds

1. Mighty power

• Supernatural power

God infused Jesus’ body with such energy and force that it caused him to rise from the dead.

That same energy seated him at the right hand of God in heaven.

That is why he is called the Sovereign Lord.

God placed and appointed Jesus as head of all things.

• Even us as the body of Christ

The church is the fullness of Christ here on this earth.
